Whimsy Stamps ~ Dragonflies Sympathy Card
Hey crafty pals, I'm back with a creation I've made commissioned by my lovely mum. She has a dear friend who has just lost their youngest child and she asked if I could make a card for her to give them while they were staying with her to attend his funeral. I was pressed for time, as she needed it the next day. I wanted to keep the tone soft and yet uplifting and found myself drawn to this beautiful dragonfly slimline die which I'd used recently. I ink blended the beautiful dragonfly panel with three of the newer shades of Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Kale, Artichoke and Cabbage. I got a beautiful blend first time with these inks. I splattered some Perfect Pearls in water over the ink blended panel, which was cut with the beautiful Slimline Dragonflies Background Die from Whimsy.
